SWANSEA Autism center sets grandparents brunch

SWANSEA — Community Autism Resources of Swansea will present its semi-annual Grandparents Brunch on Saturday, Nov. 5, 9:15 to 11:30 a.m., at the Waypoint Event Center, 185 MacArthur Drive in New Bedford.

Alyson Springer will be the guest speaker and will discuss five strategies to support expressive language development for grandchildren with autism. Springer graduated from Emerson College in 2009 with a master's degree in communication disorders.

There is no charge to grandparents within the Community Autism Resources service area, but guests are asked to register at community-autism-resources.com under the event section by noon of Nov. 1
