Star FSU athlete visits middle school, eats lunch with boy with autism

Aug. 31--A Florida State University football player's kind actions went viral after visiting a Tallahassee middle school and eating lunch with an autistic boy who was sitting alone.

Also a West Palm Beach resident, Travis Rudolph visited the middle school with other FSU players on Tuesday when he came accross sixth-grader Bo Paske, who often eats by himself at lunchtime.

Rudolph attended Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach from 2010 to 2014. He went on to become a star athelete and wide receiver for FSU, and is currently a junior at the university.

Bo's mother, Leah Paske, posted to Facebook a photo of her son sitting with Rudolph in the cafeteria. Paske wrote in the post what shock and apprecation she had for Rudolph's simple act of kindness.

"I'm not sure what exactly made this incredibly kind man share a lunch table with my son, but I'm happy to say that it will not soon be forgotten," Paske said in her post. "This is one day I didn't have to worry if my sweet boy ate lunch alone, because he sat across from someone who is a hero in many eyes."

Since Paske's post, the picture has received more than 6,000 shares and hundreds of heartfelt comments, with many commenting on Bo's amazing intellect and personality.

"Travis Rudolph went home on cloud 9 today because he got to have lunch with THE Bo Paske," wrote one Facebook user.

Paske ended her heatfelt post by officially making her and Bo "fans for life."
