MILFORD - Special Olympics Delaware is offering a Young Athletes program for children ages 2-7 who have an intellectual disability.

The program consists of fun, interactive games and activities that improve gross and fine motor skills, physical strength, and social skills. The weekly program, overseen by local special education teachers, takes place Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and runs from Sept. 23 through Nov. 9 at the Milford Elks Lodge 2401.

Indian River Ladies Auxiliary holding AUCE breakfasts

MILLSBORO - Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will hold all-you-can-eat buffet style breakfasts Sept. 11 and Oct. 9 at their main station No. One on Oak Orchard in Millsboro.

Both Sunday morning breakfasts are open to the public and run from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 5-12; kids under five free of charge.

Proceeds benefit the Indian River Ladies Auxiliary.
