The SaeboStretch is a dynamic hand and wrist splint designed for use by individuals with neurological injuries such as stroke or traumatic brain injury. The SaeboStretch allows the fingers to move through flexion caused by associated reactions and tone. In addition, it utilizes a low-load, long-duration stretch to return the fingers to the desired position. The splint prevents deformity, joint damage, hypermobility, and contractures. The SaeboStretch includes three interchangeable hand pieces, each with a different grade of resistance. This feature protects joints and allows the clinician to customize to meet each individuals specific needs. The SaeboStretch's strapping system and its malleable wrist and thumb mount facilitate a customized fit, and its non-slip strap material keeps the fingers in the desired position. The splint's Breeth-O-Preen covering allows moisture to wick away. The liner is removable for routine cleaning.
