The Orthocare K.W. Shoulder Splint ##2056 is a modified triangular abduction splint designed for use when there is mild tension on a repaired supraspinatus tendon but the external rotators are intact, or during the course of treatment on larger tears in which the large K.W abduction brace is used initially, followed by application of the smaller K.W. triangular splint at 4 weeks. When at rest, the arm may be passively elevated. The wrist is attaced to the splint with padded Velcro straps, and a strap goes around the lower torso to hold the foam support pad. An additional strap goes over the healthy shoulder for support. The pad is 4 inches thick. SIZES: Available in Small only.
