BRIEF: Special Olympics bowling tournament coming to Aberdeen Oct. 19

Oct. 17--The Northeast Area Special Olympics Traditional Bowling Tournament will be Friday at Village Bowl in Aberdeen.

More than 300 athletes from the Aberdeen, Huron, Ipswich, Milbank, Hayti, Pierre, Redfield, Sisseton, Watertown and Webster are expected to compete in the one-day tournament.

All athletes will compete in singles competition. Action begins at 9 a.m. and continues throughout the day. The public is welcome to attend and support the athletes at no charge.
