Tip-A-Cop is Dec. 14
The Law Enforcement Torch Run and Barnstable Police Department will present Tip-A-Cop Thursday, Dec. 14, from 5 to 9 p.m. at British Beer Company, 412 Main St., Hyannis.
At the event, BPD officers will serve as celebrity hosts and servers. They will donate all of their tips to Special Olympics Massachusetts.
Proposed DRI changes
The Cape Cod Commission will hold a public hearing Thursday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. on a proposed county amendment to exempt municipal nutrient management and remediation plans and projects from Development of Regional Impact review. The hearing will be held in the First District Courthouse, Assembly of Delegates Chambers, 3195 Main St., Barnstable.

Give blood
The American Red Cross of the Cape, Islands and Southeast MA will hold a blood drive Monday, Dec. 18, from 1:30-6:30 p.m. at the Cape Codder Resort and Hotel in Hyannis.
