Nov. 09--#5: Comedian Josh Blue

"Last Comic Standing" winner Josh Blue will perform at Off the Hook Comedy Club, 2500 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Suite 1100, this weekend. Blue, known for defying stereotypes while poking fun at his cerebral palsy on stage, earned the top prize in NBC's reality show "Last Comic Standing" in 2006. #4: Paradise Coast Food & Wine Experience

Hundreds of people are expected to attend the Paradise Coast Food & Wine Experience from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday as the festival shuts down Fifth Avenue South in downtown Naples. Local restaurant chefs and nationally renowned chefs, including Martha Stewart's culinary director Joseph Thomas, will provide cooking demonstrations and participate and meet-and-greets and panel discussions. Acrobatics, Bob Fosse-style choreography and a score by beloved Tony nominee Stephen Schwartz of "Wicked" combine in this magical production. Tickets range from $45 to $70. Performances continue this weekend of Cirque Broadway, a Naples Philharmonic Pops concert paired with high-wire circus acts. Jack Everly will conduct the ensemble through Broadway hits including "Stars" from "Les Miserables" and "Defying Gravity" from "Wicked," as acrobats twist and tumble through the air. Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday and at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets start at $68 and are available at artisnaples.org.
