TAKE ME HOME FOCUSED ON EARTH DAY, AUTISM

The Montclair Times - 5/11/2017

In honor of Earth Day and National Autism Month, Orange-based international wellness company, Lycored, brought its Mobile Garden, created in partnership with artist Kim Holleman, to the Montclair Police Department "Take Me Home Registry" event on April 22. The event's goal is to raise awareness for autism while also encouraging people to think about their relationship with the earth and their community.

The police department was able to register a number of local families to the database - for people who may need special assistance if they are alone or in times of emergency - along with Lycored who also celebrated Earth Day to encourage people to think about their relationship with the earth and their community. The event also raised awareness for autism by collecting donations that will be matched by Lycored and donated to Spectrum 360 and Autism Speaks.

At the event attendees were able to write their name on an autism awareness puzzle piece which were strung among the surrounding trees, tour the Mobile Garden created in partnership with artist Kim Holleman, plant rosemary seedling and enjoy the nature's beauty stickers and temporary tattoos.
